Neurons & more. Hand-made!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!11111111111 It's amazing! (Thnx http://www.craftster.org/blog/mr-x-stitch-presents-beefrancks-emporium-voraciousbrain/ )

Voraciousbrain is a self-proclaimed mad scientist, and it looks like that’s for real! Many of her science-themed cross stitches are photographed in the lab where she works.

Here we see Gonorrhea ready to be studied under a microscope.

And this is a diagram of an eukaryotic cell.

Oh, Euglena. You’re so cute, with your single celledness and your characteristics of both plants and animals.

Isn’t it nice to see a neuron outside of an anti-depressant commercial? I think so. Especially when it’s stitched.

It seems that everything around her provides inspiration.

I have been told that VoraciousBrain uses this cross stitch of a colon as a test. If you respond positively to it, she knows you’re good people.

By now I’ve sure you want to see more – FOR SCIENCE! Check out VoraciousBrain’s flickr photostream or etsy store – you’ll be glad you did!
